Every world has a point of entry. For I Am Angelina, it is The Beginning: the first volume of a memoir series rooted in Elisângela Bearigo’s own life.
A life across borders
The story begins on a farm in Brazil and follows a mother’s journey towards Europe in search of a better future for her children and a life she can call her own. Family, responsibility and the search for independence give the series its personal centre.
Written by Elisângela Bearigo and Daniel Bearigo, I Am Angelina brings that journey into a connected series. The Beginning is followed by King Cobra and Northern Lights, each opening another part of Angelina’s life.
